1996 - 2004 - Assistant-Professor in Latin and Translation Studies at Sofia
University, Department of Classics.
2004-2005 - Participant in the undergraduate program renewal and development
in Classics - author of two courses syllabi: "Latin Language and Authors
- part I" and "Latin Language and Authors - part II".
2004 - 2005 - Participant in the Masters Curriculum renewal and development
in Classics - staff member of the Project "Development of the Masters
Program in Humanities - Ancient Literature and Culture"; author of the
course syllabus "Problems of Translation and Reception of Ancient Texts".
2001-2002 - Director of the project "A Digital Encyclopedia of the
Ancient World" - the first encyclopedia of the ancient world in Bulgaria
as well as the first one in electronic format, sponsored by Sofia University
Research Fund.
1997-2004 - Director of the project "Romulus Bulgaricus - A Bilingual
Digital Library for Latin Literature" - a collection of all bulgarian
translations of latin texts, sponsored by Open Society Foundation, Sofia,
and Sofia University Research Fund.
1995 - 1997 - Assistant-Researcher at Linguistic Modelling Laboratory,
Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
1995 - 1997 - Staff member in two EU COPERNICUS'94 projects:
- BILEDITA, for construction of bilingual electronic dictionaries (French-Bulgarian
and Bulagrian-French) by statistical approach,
- GLOSSER, for design and implementation of software tools facilitating second
language learning and acquisition, as well as translation facilities based
on alignment programs.
1992- 1996 - Participation in the project 'Translation Reception of European
Literatures in Bulgaria during the 19th and 20th centuries". (This joint
project was organised by the Translators’ Union of Bulgaria, Literature Institute
of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and supported by the Austrian Society
KulturKontakt).
