Education and Professional Occupation

  •  1982: Graduated from the National College for Ancient Languages and Cultures.
  •  1987: Master degree in Classical Philology at the Department of Classics, University of Sofia.
  •  1988: Lecturer in Latin in the Department of Classics.
  •  1988-91: Post-graduate study at the University of Sofia.
  •  1991: Assistant Professor of Ancient culture in the Department of Classics, Faculty  of Classical and Modern Philology at the University of Sofia.
  •  1997: Senior Assistant Professor.
  •  1998: Ph. D. thesis “Concepts and Ideas of Culture in Ancient Greek Prose of V-IV centuries BC”, defended at the University of Sofia.
  •  1998: Chief Assistant Professor
  •  2006: Associate Professor
